Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and informs you that it has received a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union numbered (45103047) and dated (10/7/1445H). The letter refers to the communication from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority numbered (18785/A) dated (6/7/1445H), which includes the issuance of the Authority's decision numbered (18541/B) dated (3/7/1445H). The decision lifts the temporary ban imposed on the import of beef, sheep, and goats, and their products from the Republic of South Africa. This comes after reviewing the recommendations issued by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) under Article (8.16) of the Code for the Welfare of Terrestrial Animals, which indicates the possibility of lifting the ban.​
